Doves are mentioned several times in the bible. God chose the form of a dove to show His love and approval at the baptism of Jesus. It is said that Mary took doves to the temple after the birth of Jesus. Three doves together represent the Holy Trinity.
In some cultures it is considered good luck for the bride to see a white dove on her wedding day, it is a sign of a long and blissful marriage. In ancient times a white dove was a gift from the bride to her groom; a symbol of her love, purity, and commitment.Doves mate for life. They share the responsibility of building a new home, raising their young, and facing life's challenges together. The doves are a beautiful representation of the commitment made by the bride and groom.
Earth's Angels White Dove Release is a Christian; family owned and operated, White Dove Release business located in beautiful, historical San Antonio, Texas. We enjoy being able to share the symbolism and the beauty of our precious doves with the people of San Antonio. It is our prayer that they will touch your life as they have ours. With every flight they bring God's message of hope, love, and the promise of new beginnings. As we watch our doves fly it reminds us how amazing God truly is, how blessed we are to have Earth's Angles in our lives, as well as being able to share their grace and beauty with others.
We began raising and training white doves while living in East Tennessee. We acquired 40 of these beautiful birds from a friend who could no longer care for them due to his health. As we began doing research on our new pets we discovered we were caring for truly unique and gifted athletes and not mere pigeons. We developed a program for our doves consisting of training, nutrition, and preventive health care. Many hours are spent caring for and training our birds to ensure their health , safety , and ability to perform at many functions.
After doing dove releases for about 6 years in Tennessee we moved to Texas. Presently, we are in the process of training a new flock of birds to service San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
Although once trained the birds are capable of flying hundreds of miles we will limit our service area to a 75 mile radius of San Antonio.
