Hello! Welcome to Caitlin's Creations little piece of the Wedding Guide. Let me tell you a little bit about myself, so we can concentrate on YOU during our consultation!

I have been in the photography field for over eight years, working under various photographers. I discovered my passion for photography and weddings, and have been enjoying my career ever since--especially since branching out into my own business in 2008. I look at every photography session, and every event I capture, as a unique experience--one to learn from and have fun with. Your wedding will not be just another job for me, but a special day that I have the opportunity to be a part of. You are not just another client, but a bride getting ready for the most exciting day of her life!

It is so important to have a good relationship with your photographer--they will share some of the most emotional, stressful, and wonderful moments of your life. I enjoy building a relationship with you, so that you are relaxed and having fun on your wedding day, not worrying about a camera in your face!

Besides my passion for photography, I also specialize in (and really enjoy!) portrait design. What will you do with your portraits? I am a firm believer in your rights to own your images, and you will always receive an image CD with my services. But what comes next? Will you print a bunch of 4x6s just to put them into a box in your closet? This is where my special design abilities come into play. Many photographers send their designs out to an anonymous graphic designer, that you will never meet--I know YOU, and design unique creations with you in mind. Many of my brides choose me for my personal service AND design ability all in one, and most decide to let me take care of everything for them, from their fun Save the Date magnets or cards to their unique custom Invitations and Guestbooks, a special Boudoir Book for their husband to be, and even personal Thank You card designs. The Wedding Album is the final result of months of getting to know you throughout our sessions, meeting, and design consults, to make that special design just for you.

Amazing!

Both Kristi and Dan are absolutely wonderful, being from out of town they really went above and beyond to make sure we were always on the same page with what we wanted and needed. Our engagement shoot was a blast as well as the bridal shoot; Dan always tried to make us feel comfortable and took some amazing photos of who we really are, no awkward poses but natural actions to help us remember our special moments. With so much going on during the actual wedding day I'm so glad we had Dan capture every single little detail that we will always have to look back on.

The most important thing that I can tell you about us is that we are extremely flexible!

Much like buying a wedding gown. We try to customize all of our collections to your needs, and more importantly your budget. When you buy a gown you should know there are many different choices, and not all of them are obvious.

We can shoot your wedding in many styles or a combination of styles. We can do it in a more traditional style with candid's and portraits like you've seen forever, or we can do it in a photo journalistic style which is completely candid and unobtrusive. We can do black and whites, infrared, sepia and so forth. We can do it any way you want!!

Our personal preference is make you happy, and mix it all together. The way I'd describe our work is kind of like this...
