If you choose floor-length be sure the hem is at least two inches from the floor to avoid the possibility of tripping. Some of the more popular fabric choices include organza, satin, lace and velvet, or a combination of fabrics. Whichever you choose, be sure the fabric fits the season. Your flower girl will be wearing this outfit all day and into the evening so try not to pick an itchy fabric.

Typically the child's parents pay for their wedding attire; however, the bride and groom can certainly purchase the flower girl dress (or the ring bearer's suit) as a gift.
